This new "No Password" mode allows you to recover passwords from an external drive even when the user login password is unknown or forgotten.
Normally, external drive recovery requires the Windows user password. However, this mode attempts to recover all possible passwords without it. But in this case, some application passwords may not be recovered if they use user-based encryption.
This makes it useful tool for digital forensics as well as personal recovery from crashed hard drive.
