FTP Commander stores all the FTP login and passwords at following location based on the edition type and Windows platform.
[FTP Commander on Windows 32-bit & 64-bit] C:\Program Files\FTP Commander\ftplist.txt C:\Program Files (x86)\FTP Commander\ftplist.txt [FTP Commander Deluxe on Windows 32-bit & 64-bit] C:\Program Files\FTP Commander Deluxe\ftplist.txt C:\Program Files (x86)\FTP Commander Deluxe\ftplist.txt [FTP Commander Pro] C:\cftp\ftplist.txt
This “ftplist.txt” file contains list of all the FTP server configurations. Here is sample of one of the FTP site entry,
Name=XenArmor;Server=ftp.xenarmor.com;Port=21;Password=(+*-,;User=xenuser;Anonymous=0;SavePassword=1;EMail=email@mail.com;Pasv=1;Answer=0957681; CheckPSW=1;CheckVHost=0;TimeZone=0;TimeZoneV=-1;ShowHidden=0;MkDir=1;
Here “Server”, “User” & “Password” fields refer to FTP server, username & encoded password respectively.
FTP Commander encodes FTP password using static XOR key and stores in the above file along with other details.
