FTPRush Password Secrets
FTPRush stores all your FTP login passwords at following location
[Windows Vista/7/8/10] C:\Users\[user_name]\Appdata\Roaming\FTPRush\RushSite.xml [Windows XP/2003] C:\Documents and Settings\[user_name]\Application Data\FTPRush\RushSite.xml
This XML file contains list of all the FTP server configurations. Here is the sample of FTP site entry,
<SITE NAME="ftp://user:***@ftp.xenarmor.com" UID="E2D05560B954467DB821DCEC433FE821">
<HOST>
ftp.xenarmor.com
</HOST>
<MAXTRANSFER LOGIN="2" LOGINDOWN="2" LOGINUP="2" />
<NF>
True
</NF>
<AUTOREF ENABLE="False" />
<USER>
xenarmor
</USER>
<PASS>

</PASS>
</SITE>
Here “Host”, “User” & “Pass” fields refers to FTP server, username & encrypted password respectively.
Passwords up to 8 chars in length can be decoded using static XOR key. For longer passwords, FTPRush uses Blowfish encryption algorithm. And key for encryption is generated using Ripemd 256-bit hash algorithm with magic text “th3m3ugaysshit9”.
